Attica

Was at Attica last night for my faculty’s bash.

It was fun initially, with my girls and boys with me. We had so much fun playing stupid games and I tortured Sylvia with the fact that I found out her secret! Haha.

The girls left pretty early, claiming that they want to catch the last train home. I can not believe that, totally. I mean, when you come out and play, you would not be thinking of catching the last train home, right? Furthermore, they could have shared a cab since they stayed pretty near each other. Well, I guess, clubbing is not their cup of tea.

Anyway, the main point of this post is to comment that a certain guy, D, whom everyone dislikes, was trying to showoff AND get the girls drunk.

He went to everyone and announced that he purchased a bottle at his table and invited the girls over. Then, later in the evening, he went on to buy the silly juniors drinks like flaming L and stuff.

Why are they so greedy? Lusting after the few drinks, given that we all know the price to pay. Letting him grope.

Saw him on the dance floor later with another girl, and he was groping her all the time and almost pulled her top down. What the hell?!!

The girl, according to sources, was not drunk. So, Who in their right mind would allow him to do that???

Only one advice for her:

If you are going to let someone do that to you, please, at least choose someone cute/rich. Not that hideous looking thing.

Senior’s Camp 09/10

I am back from attending senior’s camp! It was held from the 22nd May to 23rd May. However, with the programs, we could have made it a one-day affair instead. All because of all the time wasting and lousy planning.

Chief Programmer is a irritating, unreasonable and unhelpful person. The way he planned the program outline for the camp was unrealistic. The problems could be anticipated and he could have improved the situations.

One example. We had a BBQ dinner on friday. Everyone was to report at 5pm at the BBQ pit. Some people strolled in at a much later time.

He did not help things by allocating tasks to each individual groups. We had to act on our own. My group split into 2, 2 guys and I was in-charge of starting the fire while the rest were helping to prepare the food. There were 3 groups sitting around, doing nothing.

What about the CP? He was chee-honging with 2 girls. And when I asked him if it was possible to get a table from the nearby canteen to place it next to the pit?

He said: None of my business.

Throughout the dinner, I did not him do any cooking/preparing/help. All he did was eat and eat and eat.

Many things happened. But I am lazy to list out all my complaints.

My group members were fantastic, with majority from Torco. Had 2 new additions, Johnny and Min Hui. Both very willing to join us and integrate into our little family.

I can foresee many problems coming up for the camp and at the same time, many more fun moments. With my juniors and freshmen and allied factions.

Of Harem, Jnrs, Long forgotten friends..

Had a very busy day today! Met up with my beloved Harem, which consists of Prince Wenny, Royal Maid Yunz, Concubine Baey and Knight of Shitty Armour Robin for lunch. However, Baey is currently in Japan with his gf and Robin is in NS, so, there is only 3 of us. However, it was an afternoon full of fun and laughter. Chu Wen is full of crap, and Yunz is full of dark clouds. Tried to bring her out of her dark world so that she can realise how beautiful the world really is.After that, met up with my favourite Juniors, TORCO!, for dinner at Imperial Treasure followed by dessert at Max Brennan. Surprisingly, Jonathan made it for outing, definitely his first time. Everyone was great! Missed FOC when I see them, being so bonded and all. =DGot a call from Sheri when I was at Explanade, met up with her at Fajar MacDonalds. She got a little slimmer, but still looks the same. She is with a common friend now, and stays over at his place, kind of permanaently. Don’t think that she should be doing that, but she thinks that it is no big deal. *shrugs*Time passes in a blink of eye. People come and go. People change. If you do not make an effort to maintain the relationship, you will find it hard to catch up.

Friends..

What is the definition of friends? Are they people who want only the best for you?Or just people who use you as a step to the ultimate goal?Had an experience of a lifetime with 2 of my friends from Uni today. Both are currently working in a MLM company, selling health supplements. They tried to rope me in, keep asking me join them, saying things like they really want the 3 of us to work together.I cannot believe it.I made it so obvious that I was not interested yet they went on and on.They emphasised that they are all about network marketing, not HARD SELLING.But the way they were putting the idea across to me?It sounded just like they were pressuring me to sign up with them and were so traumatising!I cannot believe it, I was so stupid to go down the second time, just because she said: Do it for me.This incident makes me rethink, who are my friends, exactly?

Happenings..

Finally went for an interview yesterday which MsVindicta introduced to me. The location was a bitch and the salary they offered was pathetic. They were going to hire me as an Intern, yet gave me the title of Key accounts manager, who, does the job of corporate sales. What is the logic behind that?Anyway, met up with an “old” friend for lunch today. Have not seen him for almost 2 years. So glad that he is still involved in my life. Thanks for the lunch!Next, went Selegie for some gaming action with my coursemates. They are a great bunch of guys whom I enjoy hanging out with. Simply because, they gossip as much as I do! Haha.Anyway, the gaming session really helped me relaxed and vented some of my frustrations.  The dinner session was really fun too! Especially the part about godfather yeo having to prepare his own meal. Haha. Finally home after an afternoon full of activities. Maybe I am indeed getting older, feeling tired already. Haha.Am really glad to have friends who are there for me, even though we are not that close. Shall make the effort to get to know them better.=D good night, world.

Mensa Test..

Q: What do you put in a toaster?

A: The answer is bread. If you said “toast,” then give up now and go do something else before you hurt yourself. If you said “bread”, go to the next question.

-=+=-

Q: Say “silk” five times. Now, spell “silk.” What do cows drink?

A: Cows drink water. If you said “milk,” please do not attempt the next question. Your brain is obviously overstressed and may even overheat. It may be that you need to content yourself with reading something more appropriate such as “Children’s World.” If you said “water,” then proceed to the next question.

-=+=-

Q: If a red house is made with red bricks, a blue house is made with blue bricks, a pink house is made with pink bricks, a black house is made with black bricks, what is a greenhouse made with?

A: Greenhouses are made from glass. If you said “green bricks,” what the heck are you still doing here reading these questions? If you said “glass,” then go on to the next question.

-=+=-

Q: Twenty years ago, a plane is flying at 20,000 feet over Germany. If you will recall, Germany at the time was politically divided into West Germany and East Germany. Anyway, during the flight, TWO of the engines fail. The pilot, realizing that the last remaining engine is also failing, decides on a crash landing. Unfortunately, the engine fails before he has time and the plane crashes smack in the middle of “no-man’s-land” between East Germany and West Germany. Where would you bury the survivors - East Germany or West Germany or in “no-man’s-land”?

A: You don’t, of course, bury the survivors. If you said ANYTHING else, you are a real dunce and you must NEVER try to rescue anyone from a plane crash. Your efforts would not be appreciated… If you said, “Don’t bury the survivors” then proceed to the next question.

-=+=-

Q: If the hour hand on a clock moves 1/60th of a degree every minute, then how many degrees will the hour hand move in one hour?

A: One degree. If you said “360 degrees” or anything else other than “one degree,” you are to be congratulated on getting this far, but you are obviously out of your league. Turn your pencil in and exit the room. Everyone else proceed to the final question.

Q: Without using a calculator - You are driving a bus from London to Milford Haven in Wales. In London, 17 people get on the bus. In Reading, six people get off the bus and nine people get on. In Swindon, two people get off and four get on. In Cardiff, 11 people get off and 16 people get on. In Swansea, three people get off and five people get on. In Carmathen, six people get off and three get on. You then arrive at Milford Haven. Now, what was the name of the bus driver?

A: Oh, come on now… It was you!

3rd installment of my birthday..

Yup. I had a 3rd installment. Though it is a pretty short one. Celebrated with the Thoren people. In canteen. It was really nice of them to remember my birthday, special thanks to Vincent. I bet it was him who was the one who reminded them.

And what are the presents I received?

A cake!

Baked by Vincent!

Thanks pal!!

That boy told me beforehand: “Veron, I very poor, no money to buy present for you. I make something for you okie?”

I expected a handmade card or something simple! Though it was his first time baking a cake, it tasted quite nice!

My dearest Auntie 2 gave me a hot pink Nike bottle! To encourage me to drink more water! Thanks babe!

Send and Alex gave me a Nike bottle too! But of different design, and they are complaining that why am I not using their bottle??

I seriously love my friends!

Thanks for making my 20th birthday such a wonderful event! More for my 21st! =D

1st installment of 20th birthday celeration..

18th Jan, celebrated my 20th birthday with my uni friends. Though some of them could not make it, we had lots of fun still. From all the jokes and food discussions and revealing of my surprise of the night.

The birthday boy and girl with their friends!

Zongxiang, Alex, Seng, ZhangMei, Princess, Mabel, Mitchelle

Us with the Tom and Jerry cakes!!

The boys

The girls!

Kenzo Amour! From the girls, my very 1st birthday present this year! thanks!!!

And remember about the surprise I was talking about earlier? Because of the fact that Mabel was worried that people will get me the same presents from my wishlist, so she told me in advance that the girls are going to get me the perfume! So, to add in the element of surprise, dear Mitchell made me a card!

V IS FOR VERON! =D

Ain’t it cute! It is definitely the effort that counts!

The messages!

Had a really great time with them yesterday! Though we only knew each other for half a year, they are definitely friends for keep! So glad to have known them!

Special thanks to

-Mabel ( wo men jia de!), Zhang Mei, Mitchell, Alex (Happy 22nd birthday!), Zong Xiang and Seng for turning up!

-M&M, Zhang Mei, Yuan Lin, Cindia, Viona and Yuhua for the present! Thanks girls! We are the ultimate 8 k! =D

Lectures would not have been so enjoyable without anyone of you! To more birthdays! Yeah!

Yesterday night, Cousin Luke, Jennifer and my beloved brother asked me down to MoS. Because Jennifer read from her tourist guide that MoS is a must to visit. Had lots of fun taking photos but did not enjoy the music. Went over to Dbl O instead. First time getting into O bar. The Door Bitch was like: eh, 3 days more to the birthday, can let her in anot? Haha!

Anyway, Dbl O was having some Indian day or something. They actually hired some Indian dancers to dance. Very Bollywood-like. Met one of my brother’s friend whom I have not seen for 2 years! Can you believe it that he still remember me?! Oh god.

Met Marcus and his friends. Too many of them to remember their names, but I do remember helping one of them to get a girl’s number. Heh. That’s what I am really good at huh. =D

Had a lamboghini yesterday! Got high, but not drunk. Bro was worried that he had to carry me home! Jennifer is the only one who got drunk and the 3 of us had to look after her! I had to follow her to the toilet. =.=

Overall, it was really fun! So glad that Jennifer came over, created a chance for us to go out together. Next sat, Hao and Kelvin will be joining us. Cousins outing! =D
